My daughter has attended Snwkarate for just over 2 years, and has made amazing progress through the belts. As well as her ability in Karate, we have also seen her develop as a person, with greater confidence, self belief and perseverance. Sensei Steve and Sensei Paul are great guys. Classes are well organised, with a foundation of discipline, respect and good behaviour. However there is still always time for some fun and light heartedness. My daughter really enjoys the classes, and has made lots of friends on her journey. I would highly recommend Snwkarate to anyone, and if you have any interest just go along and give it a go! ~ Matt

My son has been coming to Snw karate for just over a year. Both Sensei Steve and Sensei Paul are good with my Son. Noah is more confident. Discipline and respect is built on which i think any parent would like there child to build on to help them as they grow. Both Sensei’s work hard for the children to get there kata right and for them to be able to pass there next belt exam without effecting there self esteem as its assessed on there individual readiness. My son enjoys going although he isn't always the best listening both Sensei’s can get Noah to engage. I would highly recommend. ~ Leanne H

Our son has been attending lessons for just over a year, and we could not be more pleased. It is a great club, with experienced and knowledgeable instructors, and very patient and friendly helpers. All great examples of the karate spirit and brillant role models for the students. My son is very shy and lacks confidence, and he was not sure about joining at first. Watching my sons confidence grow over the past year since starting training has been amazing! The trainers are invested in their pupils and teach with enthusiasm and care, they genuinely want to extract the best out of them. I can’t recommend this dojo highly enough, my sons gone from strength to strength and has made us so proud! My son has been going to karate for quite some time now and he really enjoys the classes with Sensei Steve and Sensei Paul. He has grown in confidence and both Sensei's make the classes fun but very rewarding too always learning new skills along the way. The classes are also very good for making new friendships. I can not recommend SNWKarate or praise them highly enough. Joel is 14 yrs old and has been with SNWKarate for the last 3 years. Before he started Karate his social side outside of school was online gaming. I think most of us parents can relate to watching our kids in front of a tv screen for hours on end playing games with headsets on talking to there friends and getting little exercise(apart from the tantrums when they get beat at the game 😂). I decided to look at a club to break that cycle, football I thought🤔 then a friend mentioned Karate. I am so glad we looked at a Karate school. The lessons the students learn is a skill for life. I look at Joel now 3 years later his confidence has grown massively, his fitness levels are miles apart from when he started and to top it all off he loves it. As a parent I thank the Sensei at SNWKarate for everything they do and how proud they make me feel as I see my boy grow. Karate is for life and Karate will change your life. My daughter has been attending regular Karate lessons for 18 months and enjoys the sessions. I have witnessed a big improvement in skills and she also recognises her own progress. Her confidence has also increased. The Instructors/black belts have a good balance of encouragement and pointing out ways to improve technique and the sensei is extremely passionate about Karate. ~ James H

My kids have enjoyed Karate a lot over the last year and it’s growing on them. The lessons are well structured as per children’s ability. Sensei Steve and Paul harbour discipline and make it fun for children at the same time. The sessions are excellent, a great balance of core skills intermixed with real life self defence and of course - fun! The knowledge and passion shown by sensei is palpable and rubs off on the kids. Excellent karate club, from absolute beginners to black belt level. Club leaders are knowledgeable and assist each person to achieve their personal best, whilst maintaining the integrity of the karate grading system. Sensui Steve and Sensui Paul are very knowledgeable and friendly. They tailor training based on individuals, which makes classes fun for children and adults alike.We enjoy going to classes. Along with karate, we are learning very important life lessons like discipline,confidence, time management, and self-defense. ~ HK M

Sensei Steve is amazing my daughters been going to his lessons for a few years now and could not fault him my confidence and self asteam have come on in leaps and bounds would defo recommend his lessons to anyone who wants to see there child thieve and improve there confidence ~ Stacey P

I have been training at SNW Karate /under Steve for the last 17yrs. When I first started training at the age of 12 I was a very shy kid, always kept myself to myself, however over the years SNW Karate has helped build my confidence and self-esteem, made me more disciplined, improved my fitness, developed my leadership skills and allowed me to progress from beginner (white belt) to advanced (3rd Dan) with great techniques and skills whilst learning and developing new skills within a friendly and family orientated environment. SNW Karate has gave me opportunities to compete in Regional, National and British competitions as-well as train under international masters all of which have helped me progress and develop mentally and physically as a martial artist as-well as a person. I have been an Assistant Instructor within SNW Karate for the last 12years which has allowed me to build on and improve my confidence, self esteem and leadership to the next level allowing me to pass down my Knowledge to the next lot of students coming up through the grades. SNW Karate is a fab place to learn/train and build on those key areas of development, confidence, team work, discipline, leadership, fitness, gross and fine motor skills and most importantly its is done in a fun and friendly environment 🥳 ~ Jade R
